You hit the nail on the head CATHATER.
Unfortunately, you have ignorant people calling others ignorant, and spewing FALSE information because they either can't or won't take the time to EDUCATE themselves.
The American Auto Industry is for all practical purposes, the LAST of our FANUFACTURING Industry.
If we lose this, our country will see the same fate as every other world dominent empire throughout history. And we'll see it in our lifetime.
If we lose it Fib, i'm sure given enough time, you could be retrained to make beds in your new service industry job.
My job isn't tied to the auto industry.
And the company I work for is one of ONLY 4% that has a FULLY FUNDED PENSION FUND.
MAYBE The AUTO INDUSTRY should have funded their pensions as they went along, instead of giving it out as executive bonuses.

Is it better for "The Country", to give Billions to large failing Finantial institutions with thousands of high paid executives getting huge bonuses?
Or is it better to give Billions to large failing Automobile Manufacturers with several Million weekly pay checks at stake?

FIB, jus so I understand this, trickle up economics works like this, according to you:
Rich people hand some money to the poorest people, then they spend it, and it keeps exchanging hands until it gets back to the rich people. And it's all good cause money was exchanged a lot and the rich get the money back in the end.
So, in theory, money, as a piece of paper just inherently has some kind of magical powers that gives it value. And as long as we just kinda let someone just HAVE that money, they can spend it on something of value to them, and it all works out in the end. OK.
You've got it half right.
